BETH- Bonita Equestrian Therapy for the Handicapped

Welcome to the BETH Program! A quick summary of who we are and what we do. The Bonita Equestrian Therapy for the Handicapped program, located in Bonita, California, began operations on November 4, 1985. As a non profit organization BETH offers horseback riding as a means of therapy for people with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities. Therapeutic horseback riding has been an internationally recognized as a means of developing coordination, balance, muscle strength, confidence and self-esteem.


BETH provides a year round program which is available to all people, ages two and up, with disabilities such as cerebral palsy, downs syndrome, spina bifida, amputees, hearing and sight impaired, autism, multiple sclerosis and learning disabilities.

The BETH program is run by professionally trained instructors and a dedicated core of volunteers who work together to provide a safe yet challenging learning enviroment.
