NWCA and La Prensa Candidate Forum

On April 21 at 6PM the Northwest Civic Association and La Prensa San Diego held a candidate forum for the Chula Vista city council seats 3 and 4. There are three people running for seat 3 and 3 people running for seat 4. If one of these people gets 51% of the vote they will get the seat, but if not the top two candidates will have a run-off election in November.

For seat 3 only Pamela Bensoussan showed up for the forum. Devonna Almargo did not respond to numerous requests, and Russ Hall refused to participate. For seat 4 four candidates showed up. Patricia Aguilar, who has since withdrawn in favor of Steve Castaneda, Steve Castaneda, Pat Moriarty and Scott Vinson.
