You stand in the front yard of the Trading Post.  The large store appears well
maintained and prosperous having been freshly white washed and a new roof
constructed recently.  To the north, you can see (and smell) the south
wall of the stables.  An iron fence with two gates, one south heading
around the south side of the building and another allowing you to return to
the familiar cobblestone square to the east.  A large door to the west leads
inside the Trading Post, a shield shaped sign posted beside it.
The sky is cloudy and a cold northern gust blows.

Ancient Cobblestone Square

Pausing to catch your breath, you glance up at the sky and notice a strange, 
grey vortex swirling above the mountain.  Pulling your eyes from it, you see
that you stand on a large cobblestone square.  By the look of the stone, you
would guess the square was constructed a few millenia ago, yet the stones
still fit together so tightly that nothing has been able to infiltrate the
minute cracks between them.  The square extends to the east and north while
a dense forest restricts passage to the west and a frozen snow covered
trail leads down the mountain.  
The sky is cloudy and a cold northern gust blows.
