The breed we work is the American Pit Bull Terrier. They are the most misunderstood breed in the world. We have been doing rescue for five years. We have worked with over 600 APBT's in that time and none of us have ever been bitten by one. We know that the only ones not getting a fair shake is the American Pit Bull Terriers. Many local animal control office will not adopt out Pit Bulls or Pit Bull mixes.
We have a developed a great screening process. These dogs are never used for fighting or guard dogs. We try to place the dog in a home that is a lot like the home they came from. All of the dogs are fixed before they leave us. All of the dogs are house broken, leash broken and crate trained. All of the dogs are happy and healthy.
