Overlooking Main Street, HB Beer Co is one of the best local brew pubs around.
Not your avearge brew pub, most of the place is outside to enjoy the beautiful
California sunshine and the even more beautiful California women. At two blocks
from the ocean this place is a little pricey, but they have good food, great
beer, and amazing scenery.

Karl Strauss offers over 2 dozen different hand-crafted,
premium brews, everything from Karl Strauss Light to Red Trolley Ale and my favorite
Blacks Beach Extra Dark. The menu offres everything from Crab Cake Starters to
Bar-B-Qued ribs as well as steaks and seafood. Karl Strauss also sells their beer
in bottles and can be found at many local pubs.

Probably the premier sports bar in the nation (thus the name). Layouts can very
as well as the on tap brews, but two things that are constant is the great food
and good looking waitresses. You might want to meet the boys here to catch the
game of the week, but I suggest leaving the missus at home so you don't get
caught looking.

Newport Beach, CA
One of the best local breweries around Southern Cal. Located in the historic
Cannery Village, NB Brew Co offers great outside seating and world-class beers.
Some of their beers include, Newport Beach Blonde, Pelican Pale Ale, John Wayne
Imperial Stout, The Duke Dark and my personal favorite The Wedge Weizen. Check

OBC is a true trendsetter not only in their brewery
asthetics but in the food they serve as well. The rather muted stylings of this
brewery make it a nice comfortable, quiet place to dine and enjoy world class
beers. Cuisine consists mainly of Mediterranean and Italian fare. The brews
are a wide array, everything from Red Sunshine Ale to my favorite Scot's Scotch.
Watch out for the kick if you order the Scotch Ale as it delivers a powerful
8.5% kick.

this is the spot for you. Definitely not the place to take your wife or girlfreind.
A great little corner BIKINI Bar. No food, other than the sandwiches at happy

games and of course pool tables.

The Rathzkellar is located in Old World, a quaint
little european styled shopping and dining district located in Huntington Beach. They offer several German beers as well as a few of the top selling
American beers. The best time to visit is during Oktoberfest although I suggest
getting there early in the evening if you want a place to sit. Food consists of
german fare such as Bratwurst and veal. If you are looking for a place to give
you the feel of traditional German Oktoberfest this is it. Plenty of traditional
German music and drinking games like "pass the coaster".

One of, if not, the premier IRISH pubs in Orange County. Over a dozen beers
on tap and virtually everything else in a bottle. This is one place that knows
how to pour a pint of Guinness. Freindly, helpful staff, you'll leave here feeling
like you've made freinds. Excellent menu with everything from Irish stew to
Prime Rib and Lobster. If your in the mood for something different try the Austrailian
Surf and Turf (Lamb chops and Lobster tail).

Terrific Pacific is a great little place located
half a block from the beach in Pacific Beach. They have a very good selection
of brewed on-site beers as well as a tasty menu, consisting of everything from
steaks and seafood to burgers and appetizers. A great spot to soak up some of
that typical laid back California beach attitude.

THE WILD IRISH ROSE,

New owners have done an incredible job. Great Food and Beer selection
at reasonable prices. The menu at The Rose seems to be pretty good with everything from tradional Sheppards Pie to Shrimp Scaampi and what would a good Irish pub be without Guiness on tap. Live Entertainment Friday thru Sunday. Always a good
