Jesse who? You ask yourself. Think: Goofy grin, paul rudd look alike, brown eyes, black hair and ...cheerleaders. to start off with - jesse branford is one of the most amazing actors i have encountered so far. For once he's able to break out of the 'pigeonhole' stereotypes. He's not your typical teen hollywood hunk, he's not a sex symbol ready for god worship - but one thing he is is an incredible actor.
i first saw him in 'A Solider's Daughter Never Cries' (even though i read the book before i saw the movie - kaylie jones is phoenomenal) which i might add is one of the most moving movies i have ever watched and he plays Billy Willech - a french boy child who is adopted by an american couple. The story is told through the eyes of Channe - their only daughter (played by leelee sobieski) and all in all it shows how a family keeps together through moves, losses and love. It may sound cliche - but it is truly a classic. From me: 4 thumbs and a pinky up.
So obviously when i saw him in A soldier's daughter never cries i was hooked. It wasn't until later i realised he was also in Romeo and Juliet (with Leo and Claire Danes), King of the Hill (i'm not too krazy about the book), Cherry Falls (with Brittany Murphy, Clueless) and Hackers. I scanned the entire web for info on him - altogether there were three websites.
His big break came packaged along with pom poms, kirsten dunst (Get Over It! Little Women, Dick, Drop Dead Gorgeous) gabrielle union (She's All That, 10 things, Love and Basketball, The Brothers) and eliza dukshu (Buffy). Say it with me: Bring it On. From there he became a teen icon.
His upcoming movies include: Spencer w/David Krumholtz (10 things, Slums of Beverly Hills, Life with Mikey) Adam Goldberg (Two other extreme reasons to see it - there is NO REASON whatsoever to miss a david krumholtz film) which i HAVE to see and swim85 with Shiri Appleby (Roswell) and Erika Christensen (Traffic).
