HostTPHook: TEEN PEOPLE Online would like to welcome Youngstown tonight! Youngstown, whose album "Let's Roll" is tearing up the charts, is here to take your questions tonight. We're here with Dallas, Sammy and DC. How are you guys tonight?
Youngstown: Hey, what's up!
HostTPHook: Thanks for joining us! Let's get to the first question.
Question: Hi, this is Rebecca and Kasha! Hi, we are 9. When is your concert on Disney?
Youngstown: Tomorrow night at 7:30 Eastern time!
Dallas: The “In Concert” special is tomorrow at 7:30. You're going to get to see all of us individually -- get to know us. You get to hear our views and outlooks. You get to know each one of us personally. You get to see us having fun, see the things we like to do and don't like to do -- it's a good time.
Question: Hey, Youngstown, how are ya? I'm great, I'm so happy I get to really ask you guys a question, I LOVE YOU, DC! I was wondering, do you guys have any girlfriends? Thank you for taking your time to read my question, I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! Bye!! :)
Dallas: No girlfriends, and there will be no marriages anytime soon!
DC: That's the case for me!
Youngstown: We all love her too!
Question: How did you guys meet?
Sammy: We all met in Youngstown, Ohio. DC and Dallas were in a band before I met them. They broke up and we were friends already, so we started writing and producing as friends. Disney picked up on it, and we went on it from there.
Question: Are you guys going to start touring soon?
Dallas: We're doing a Kodak tour called "Kodak 'Through Your Eyes' With Youngstown." That's a song on the album. It's a mall/radio show tour. It starts in late March, and it goes for three months from LA to the East Coast and even down South. Look out for the bus -- it'll have our name on it, Kodak signs and all that good stuff!
Question: Do you guys ever embarrass each other?
Dallas: All the time! You gotta keep it interesting.
DC: We wake up every morning making it a point to do that, especially onstage.
Sammy: Yes!
Dallas: The funniest part is when we do it onstage, because then we're cracking on them all day.
Question: How long have you all been working to get where you are now?
Dallas: All of us for separate amounts of time. I've been doing recording for 10 years. DC was doing groups also.
Sammy: I did church bands and fine arts competition -- it's almost like a Christian Star Search. You compete on a national level on things like drama. I'd do it annually during my high school years.
Question: Boxers or briefs?
Dallas: Boxer briefs.
DC: Boxers.
Sammy: Boxer briefs. And boxers.
HostTPHook: OK! No briefs there! Now on to the next question.
Question: What is your favorite song on the album? I like "The Prince You Charmed" and "Pedal to the Steel."
Sammy: I think we all have to agree on "Pedal to the Steel," especially the new remix that's going to radio. It's going to radio in three weeks from tomorrow night.
Question: What's the most embarrassing thing that happened to you guys?
Sammy: When Dallas wakes up.
Dallas: I don't really want to say! It was at a restaurant and I was on a date... and as I was on this date, something slipped out... quite loud.
Sammy: Dallas farted!
Dallas: I didn't want to stand up. I was embarrassed. Luckily, my date thought it was funny. And when I was laughing about the first one, a second one slipped out. I was extremely embarrassed. I was sitting on a hard bench and that made it echo.
Question: Do you have a fan club?
Dallas: Yes, it's at www.youngstownfan.com, and it's part of the Go Network. You can see pictures from our concerts, and when we start this Kodak tour, we'll put up pictures I take with a digital camera. You can hear songs from the album, too.
DC: There are chat rooms, printable posters, screen savers and the video for "I'll Be Your Everything."
Question: How do you like being stars?
Dallas: We don't even notice it. When people know who we are, we look at it as another person on the street being nice to us, and we're nice back.
Sammy: We appreciate it when people come up to us and recognize our work. That's cool.
Question: What are your favorite movies?
DC: I like “Austin Powers,” anything with Jim Carrey.
Dallas: “Dumb and Dumber.”
Sammy: I like “Dumb and Dumber” and action movies. I even like some older movies like “The Goonies” and the old classics. And I love Michael Jordan highlight films! I'm a fanatic about Michael Jordan and I cannot hide!
Question: How do you like your song being on "The Famous Jett Jackson”?
Dallas: It's cool! The song actually turned out better than we thought it would. We're not real picky with the types of songs we do, as long as we think it has hit potential. We have so many different musical influences that the variety of music we do is everywhere from bubble-gum pop to edgy pop. We like R&B, pop, rap, country... we thought we were a little edgy for a Disney show, and it had a funky beat.
Question: How does it feel being compared with bands like the Backstreet Boys, LFO and *NSYNC?
Dallas: It's cool. We understand that everyone has to have something to compare you to. If they have nothing to compare you to, it's hard for them to decide if they like you. We're flattered to be put in that category, because they are highly successful groups, you know?
Question: Do you all get along most of the time?
Sammy: Absolutely not!
DC: I agree!
Sammy: I'm just kidding.
Dallas: We argue, but not enough to say that we're going to throw our dreams away. We understand that arguments are going to happen. You argue with your woman, you argue with your mom, but you don't stop loving her.
Question: What do you do in your spare time?
Dallas: Play video games, keep writing, keep producing.
Sammy: A little bit of everything. Play video games, work out, hang out.
DC: I like electronics and video games.
HostTPHook: Youngstown, you've been great! Look out for their album "Let's Roll," their single "Pedal to the Steel," their Disney “In Concert” special tomorrow at 7:30ET, and the premiere of their Jett Jackson video on the Disney Channel tonight. Whew, these are some busy guys!
Dallas: We love y'all and we will continue to love y'all as long as you keep loving us! Naw, we'll love you even if you don't love us! Thanks so much for the support you've given us. We all love you guys!
HostTPHook: Thanks, guys! And all of you in the audience can get information on all your favorite stars at AOL Keyword: TEEN PEOPLE now! Good night!
