Meet the sexy, young boys comin' to a town near you.

You might've thought we were attempting to interview the President - that's how challenging it was to get a hold of the heavily in demand, rockin' threesome called Youngstown (named for Youngstown, OH, where the band is based and where one of its members DC, grew up). No complaints here, though - it was so worth it. Dallas, 24, DC, 23, and Sammy, 21, make up this tender-singing trio, which recently exploded onto the R&B scene with their debut album, Let's Roll. You probably already know the album's hit single, "I'll Be Your Everything," which was featured in the film Inspector Gadget. (Whew - a lot of info there.) Anyway, TC had the chance to catch up with these hotties for a phone chat in the midst of one of their live performances. One after the other, the boys breathlessly ran from stage to phone (how sweet is that?), only to return to their fans and keep on belting their hearts out. Throughout our gabbing, I heard repeated squealing screams of love from hundreds of girls in the background. One powerful word leapt to mind: Beatlemania. These boys are majorly hot. After an extra loud surge of catcalls, I asked DC, "Are those girls screaming for you?" It's only a guess, but I could've sworn he was smiling when he coyly replied, "Oh, yeah." Ah, the rough old life of being in a very hot, very hip boy band.

Youngstown

We just watched your video a while back and it was hilarious. Did you guys have as much fun as it looked?
Dallas: We had a great time. It was a lot of fun. It was really weird because I had food poisoning the day of the video shoot. So I was kind of working through it, but at the same time, still having fun.

What's your fav song on the album? What song do you never tire of performing?
I think it would be "Pedal to the Steel" because it adds those elements of rock and hip hop and it's got energy. It's got a lot of style and a lot of flavor.

What musicians inspired you guys?
Prince, Michael Jackson, Babyface - people who have had the longevity and who keep writing hits today. Diane Warren and David Foster ... I can name a bunch of people.

This is an explosive time for R&B. Why do you think that is?
I firmly believe that history repeats itself. I can remember back in the late '80s, early '90s, the big bands, like Poison and all them, were considered the pop boy bands of the time. They were all long-haired considered the pop boy bands of the time. They were all long -haired considered the pop boy bands of the time. They were all long-haired guys and that stuff was in. Now it's an image thing and a show thing.

So what's your take on dating and being a musician? It is hard to be faithful and to find time for true romance?
By no means is it hard to be faithful, because I think that's within the person. If you're loyal and faithful, then you can do it no matter what you do in life. However, it's really hard to date and to get into the situation being in this industry. You're always traveling and you're never in one spot for very long.

OK. Tell me what's the most romantic thing you've ever done in your life?
That's one we haven't been asked yet. I don't really go out of my way. What I do is, I'll compliment you every day. I'll tell you you're beautiful when you look your worst. The most I've ever done is maybe send flowers to a girl. I think what you say and what you do is more important than what you buy or what you give somebody.

What's in your fridge right now?
Absolutely nothing. Maybe some year-old ketchup or something like that. We eat out everyday.

OK, thanks Dallas. Why don't you grab someone else.
Here's DC.

Hey DC. On your CD cover you thanked Jim Carrey and some other comedians for your abs. What's that all about?
DC: Because they make me laugh. Jim Carrey, Mike Myers and Adam Sandler are my idols.

If you could chose your dream tour, who'd be on it with you guys?
Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync, and 98 Degrees all on one huge tour. That would rock.

What kind of music are you listening to these days?
I listen to, like Sublime and alternative [music]. I listen to all kinds of stuff, from country to rap to rock.

What's the best part about your job?
Probably the fans, and you get to travel. It's so weird to see all these people. It's like they heard our music, and it touched them in some way because they're showing us affection.

Thanks DC. Why don't you hand over the last victim.
OK, here's Sammy.

SAMMY: To be honest, just the way this first single's been taking off, being that it's only been played through the Disney Channel and the Disney Radio channel. For the recognition it's been getting, that's been really surprising to me.

What words of wisdom would you offer to young men or women starting out today?
It's tough at first because you think a lot of people won't believe in you. But I just say: Believe in the one who gave you that gift and stay humble and appreciative in life. Be patient because your time will come. Don't listen to anybody telling you that you can't do it or you can't make it.

What do you look for in a potential mate?

I look for a spiritual woman. I really do. It intrigues me the most. That's what led me to be who I am, and that's what I search for.

What's your fav scent on a girl?
Being fragrant is one of my hobbies. I collect a lot of fragrance for men. And so if a girl walks by and I smell something on her, I'm just like, "Are you wearing so-and-so?" There are just so many different colognes that I love for women: Cool Water [for Women], White Diamonds, Gucci, Fendi.

What's your favorite cut off the album?
I would have to say "Pedal to the Steel."

DC said that.

Yeah, we all say it.

Why is that?
It's so much fun to perform. It's very energetic. It's a jumping song, and it's something you'll be pumping in your cars. It gets us pumping and it gets the crowd pumping.

Do you ever get starstruck?
Never. I don't know why. I think I would probably get starstruck if I were to meet Michael Jackson, being that he was such a strong idol, such a strong influence in my performing.

I hear you guys aren't exactly the cooking type. What's in your refrigerator right now?
[laughs] Boy. I would have to say nothing. We're always eating out on the road , so there's nothing at the house to be honest. I got some leftover ribs and chicken from last night, barbecued ribs and chicken.
