Tribunal Rules & Setup

Welcome,
As you know or been explained some that the Tribunal is a set of 3 , 5 or 7 judges of Players to enfoce the rules and decide what is fair for infractions that are set before them. These can range from small infractions to major infractions, that even may call on the members to remove someone from the forum.
Rather then having one person do this, which may lead to accusation of favoritism and being biased, the Players say what is acceptable and what isn't. After all, it is they who are exposed to the rule infractions, disrupting their enjoyment of which is supposed to be fun and a get away from real life issue for awhile.
While we do encourage people to follow the rules, and even issue a few verbal warnings, at times that is not enough. and greater measures must be taken. The Punishement shall fit the infraction.
Too many Infractions, may result a player from simply being removed from the forum. We hope we are never placed in this position, caused it kinda ruins the mood and enjoyment of the game.

Process

The 3, 5 or 7 members sit in judgement of the player. They can defend themselves or just accept what may come as they plead no contest, basically saying they know they broke a rule, just pass the punishment so we can go back to rping.
The Woe Advocate sits with the judges, but does not decide punishment. The Advocate explains the rule breaking, is emailed any witness statements and pass them to the judges, as the selection of them is random from a list of players on the member page.

  • The Judges will discuss in private what they decide the punishment should be
  • The WoE Advocate shall inform the player what the Judges decided
  • No member involved in the dispute or infracftion may sit in judgement.
  • Any member choosen, may decline to be a judge
  • Any final descision may be appealed for lessor punishment if there reason to believe it is to harsh
  • Multiple infractions that are recorded, may be grounds of removal from the forum
  • If not enough people can sit in judgement, then it fall solely to the WoE Advocate

    Possible punishments that may be considered

  • Lost of a Life
  • Lost of a rank or ranks
  • Lost of an Enchancer or Enchancers
  • Lost of all money or all Money
  • Suspension for a week
  • Suspension for 2 weeks
  • Suspension for a month
  • Removal from Forum

    Infractions that is automatic removal from the Forums

  • OOC Threats- The game is not worth threatening to kill someone ooc.
    (There must be witnesses)
