March 20, 2002 - Wednesday
Cool and sunny.
Last night the wind was horrendous as I wrote my entry. The house was shaking and
I thought that the roof might come off, but we were okay, thankfully.
This morning I went to the apartment with Fumihiko and took a little nap. He of course
went off to work. My alarm had just gone off when the doorbell rang. Well, it's
my personal policy not to answer the door so I ignored it. Then my phone rang.
It was Fumihiko. He'd stopped by, and would I mind if he came in? Of course I let him
in and in a really nice move, he'd brought me breakfast. Yum yum. Nice guy! He couldn't
stay very long so when he left I watched some TV.
When I got to work I was expecting a busy day, but it never materialized. Three of
my classes were no shows so I got a bit of prep work done for Friday.
Classes went well and I was happy with them.
It was paperwork day but because of the cancellations I got a lot of it done early.
Yay. I was able to finish up by 9:30. Fumihiko picked me up and we drove home.
That's it. Tomorrow is a national holiday so I think we'll just take it easy, at
least that's what I hope we'll do. We do have to go to the temple though. It's
a tradition around here.
