RETURN OF SWAMP THING (1989)

Warner Bros recently got the rights back for the sequel of Swamp Thing. The sequel is being re-release on April 1, 2008. If you still have the original image one. I would suggest keeping it.

Return of Swamp Thing will be playing on the Scifi Channel on December 26, 2003.

I found this poster of Return of Swamp Thing on EBay. Notice that Sarah gets top billing.

I will be conducting an interview with Ana Barredo who was the DVD producer on the Return Of Swamp Thing DVD.

I have been informed that the Return Of Swamp Thing is not in mono. They have included both DD 5.1 and DTS on the DVD.. It was a very nice surprise to find when I got the screener DVD. I am still working on the review.

Image Entertainment is releasing Swamp Thing 2 on DVD, many people are placing both VHS and the laser disc on EBay. Here is the front and back for the laser disc. Click on the pictures to see the bigger size version.

www.fangoria.com is reporting that Image will release a special edition DVD of Return of Swamp Thing on February 18th. The DVD will include commentary by Director Jim Wynorski and include a trailer. It will also be letterbox.

The Scifi channel will be playing the double feature  Swamp Thing and Return of Swamp Thing on August 25th, 2002.

In 1989, Sarah appeared in the movie "Return Of Swamp Thing". I went and saw Swamp Thing 2 since Sarah was in it. I was disppointed in the movie roles in Solarbabies & Nightfall, so I was very happy about Sarah's role in Swamp Thing. It was a very nice supporting role. She played another strong villain. She played both Arcane's lover and assistant. It was very cool for Sarah to play that kind of role. She does a great job. She was then betrayed by Arcane, and she got pissed. I don't blame her. She then decided to change her ways, and help Heather Locklear. I know that most fans hate this movie, since I am a true Sarah Douglas fan. I thought her work in Swamp Thing 2 is worth a viewing. I remember being very happy after seeing the movie. I like how she turned good, even when she was killed by Arcane.

I had not seen the movie in ages. I finally picked up the video and watched it tonight. I still like her role in the movie. I had forgotten what nice outfits she wore in the movie. It was cool to watch the movie again.
