Rules For the ML

If you are here then you are interested in our Mailing List. The Fan Fiction Luvers Mailing list. This list is run by Chesna and Rhiannon (a.k.a. Cat and Jo, the owners of this site) We have a few rules we would like people to follow. Please read these carefully and make the decision. Go back to the main page in order to subscribe.

1.) We would like people to give opinions on fanfics that are posted either by the authors or by people who just like a certain fic that they have read. However, there will be NO FLAMES on this mailing list. That means no rude comments people and we will be keeping track! You will be warned the first time it happens. If it happens again you will get a warning and suspened priveleges for 3 days. If it happens again after that, they will be suspended for a week. Five offenses will result in being permanentally taken off of the list.

2.) We have a tendency to curse a lot ourselves, but we would like to keep it to a minimum when posting on the list. Not everyone likes it. The same punishment goes for this as it does above.

3.) Ok, now, when you are posting a fic, make sure that you put in the subject that you are posting one. And, make sure you put what type of fic it is. (eg. Ranma 1/2-Lemon) Make sure that you put this in the subject! People may not want to read lemons or yaoi. Once again, same punishment as above.

4.) Try not to get too off-topic when you are talking on the list. You may discuss other things besides fan fiction if you would like, but don't let it get too far out of hand. If we see it going too far, or if it is going on for too long, we will intervene. If it continues, all the guilty parties will be taken care of in private. We will decide what will happen at that time.

5.) If you have files to send, make them less then 50k. Not everyone has unlimited space. If we catch this, and you can be sure that we will, we will have to take action. We will not have our other members be bothered by this. Same punishment as the first few.

6.) NO ARGUING! If there is a problem between people on the list, handle it privately. If you disagree and can do so tactfully, you may express your opinion. Don't make rude comments about someone else's opinion. We will not tolerate it on the list. If there becomes a problem, and people aren't handling it on their own time, we will put a stop to it. 3 strikes your out people!

7.) Try to refrain from using one-liners. That means that you should try and make the e-mails at least a few sentences long. If you are going to write one-liners then type OL in the subject to warn people.

8.) Make the subject of any new posts agree with what you are talking about. If you are psoting a fic then write it. (eg. Posting a fic- Title-series-type) Do this for all posts of all types.

Now that you have read our rules, what do you think? If you think you can handle these simple rules then welcome to the list! If you have any problems, just e-mails us.
