Welcome to PAM's Swap Page

Here you will find a listing of the current swaps being hosted at PAM's Place. Email the hostess to join a swap if it's still open! If you can't find an open swap, consider hosting one! It's fun and you'll really enjoy it and learn from it!

If you're new to swapping, and even if you're not, please take a moment to read the swap guidelines and etiquette page. There's a lot of good info there for newbies and oldbies alike!

Open Swaps

Sabrina is gonna have a PAPERDOLL swap! Here's her email:

OK all this exchanging of paperdoll links got me to thinking ~ how about a Paperdoll Swap?? You would make one Paperdoll and at least 4 change of clothes for each swapper. Dolls should be on thick cardstock. Let's leave them uncut ~ makes it easier to mail. If we get a lot I'll make groups.

Sign up deadline will be February 10, 2001. Mail out deadline would be March 10, 2001.

Any takers? Email me your name/address!

Tammy is gonna have a gift bag swap! Details:

It's a gift bag swap. Bag can be any size you can do, and any medium you'd like to use. I'll keep groups to four or five so ya only have to make three or four to send out. I'll take names until February 21st, send out the lists right after that with a mail out date of 15 March.

How's that sound? Send me your snail addy and stuff and I'll sign ya up!

Nina is hosting her first swap! A magnet swap!

I'd like to make this a quickie swap, so will take names until Sunday night 2/11/01 and will post assignments on Monday morning 2/12/01. If there is an odd number of participants, well I guess I'll just have to double or triple enter myself! lol All swaps should be mailed out no later than March 1.

Make up a 5 Magnets or Hoojies of your choice to send to your swap-mates. There will be 6 in a group, so you will send out 5. These can be any theme, but would suggest something that can be used year round.

OK.. the main rule seems to be to Have Fun... so let's do it!

Closed, but Current Swaps

Jonnie in SC has decided to have a "Kid's Easter" Swap. Parts of her email:

Make something (anything!) using your computer for a child for Easter. It can be candywraps, cards, bookmarks, pins, Easter eggwraps, bagtags, or anything your heart desires, but please make it something suitable for children (any age!). Use your imagination! Create something using your ideas for this holiday....make it religious, or funny, or just cute! Maybe something your family always has done for Easter, updated with your computer savy! But let's have FUN with it!

I will take names through Jan 31. Will try to keep groups small (7 or 8 or less) and will do several groups if the response is good. If you feel really creative, you can join two groups if you'd like! Let's make mailout date March 22 to give us plenty of time to create our own from the ideas by Easter. Just looked at the calendar and Easter is April 15 (Tax day!) this year. So you have plenty of time to come up with your ideas and make them! But I do request that if you think you will be busy at this time of year and not be able to mail out on time, PLEASE do not join. I want everyone who joins to send and receive ALL the swaps, with no no-shows! It really isn't fair to join and then never send. And everyone stays happy when they receive neat mail with fun ideas inside from everyone!

Hoping everyone will be in the mood for Easter eggs and bunny rabbits!

Email your name, address, and email addy to me: dbrit89828@aol.com and put Easter Kid's Swap in the subject line so I don't miss them!

Maggie V. wants to have a Mardi Gras Mask swap! Details:

New Swap:MASKS for MARDI GRAS

come one come all... we have 1 group started now.. lets get it filled.. Taking names for a few more days.. then will have to get the list out. I have uploaded 2 jpgs to the files in the JPG folder. One is a mask template to be printed out.. two to a page about 5" x 7 and 3/4"...Mask1.jpg the other is a picture of a Mask I just made... Mask4.jpg

If you want to join my swap, MASKS for MARDI GRAS, then go look at them.. and download the blank one to print out

The Masks do not have to have holes punched in the sides.. nor do they have to have a stick on the side to hold it.. we will let the person receiving them set them up how they want to use them.. (IF THEY DO) just decorate them up.. and send one to each person..

They should be done Feb 9th and sent out.. They do not all have to be the very same just use what you have at hand to make them

Alice is hosting a "New Year" swap. Here's a clip from her email:

I'd like to host a swap with a New Year's theme. I did a swap like this about 2 years ago and found it a lot of fun.

Make anything to swap as long as it has something new about it for the new year. It can use a supply you've never used before, or can be a new technique or project that you've never tried. On the swap I hosted before I used the Ultra thick embossing powder on the front of a card. I'd had it sitting on a shelf for a year and never used it.

So if you've been wanting to try something and haven't gotten around to it or have a new printer and are just starting to use it, or just got a new rubber stamp, this is the swap for you! I'll take names until Dec. 30 because of the contest. Due date for the swap will be Feb. 15.

If you can't find an open swap and still want to make some goodies to send off, won't you please consider one of these worthy sites for your efforts. It's great practice and your cards are always well received and appreciated.

Send some sunshine to some one who needs it!

Send something to the Rookie Coordinator! Ask for her address so you can send her some stuff!

Take it back toPam's Hideaway!
