Dear Brother Tom,
As for me and my family has always depended upon the Lord to provide our needs. It's been 10 months since I have lost my job and even though the Lord has been a great provider.
Recently, I've lost 80% of my life's earnings in stock investments, due to which I fell very broken and depressed. The only answer that I get from the Lord is that he's testing my patience, like the way Job was tested for being faithful.
Even in this situation I havn't lost hope and continuing even more to depend upon him, I would be grateful if you could also prary for me and my family to strengthen our beliefs so that God is going to bless us for everything that we have lost.

Like you, I too have lost much of what I had in my life. I have no home of my own. I live with a friend and friends are few. Remember that all that we have in this world are as filthy rags compared to what the Lord has in store for us in his heavenly realm. Like Job, I pray that your faith in God becomes even stronger and that all you have lost will be returned to you a hundred fold. Be patient like Job and listen for His voice when it comes into your heart and I pray that your prayers will be answered.

Please pray for a beautiful baby girl born on 07/28/2008. She is suffering from unknown severe seizers and I truly believe GOD will cure her! I need as many people as possible to pray for this dear child. If you would ever see her she would melt your heart! She is incredible beautiful! She has the face of an angel. Please help me lift her up to our lord! Thank you SO much!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Beverly Eckert, one of the victims of the Buffalo commuter plane crash on February 13, 2009 who was a Sept. 11 widow who put her never-ending grief to good use to make the country safer. A week before her death, Beverly met with President Obama at the White House as part of a group of 9/11 families and relatives of those killed in the bombing of the USS Cole.
Please pray for my boyfriend Gene who is suffering severely for financial loss. He is having a difficult time surrendering all to God and is feeling very desperate. He needs for God to open the door for a really good job and that God will direct all of his paths and heal him from depression...He is very desperate right now...thank you all for your prayers and god bless all of you!!

Please pray for my friend Gina who also is suffering severely for financial loss. She also is having a difficult time just barely bringing home $400 (every two weeks OR $800/month)--no one can live on $800/month in San Francisco. Gina writes "I'm so FRAGILE emotionally and crying instantly". Gina is an experienced administrative assistant who lost her position due to downsizing in an Internet based company. Please pray for my friend Gina and if anyone in the San Francisco Bay area could offer Gina a better paying job, she can be contacted via email at ginataay@yahoo.com. My dear friend Lee suffered a stroke in July, 2005. Lee is a remarkably gentle, kind, and humorous man who, like many of us, has suffered a great many of disappointments in his life. In spite of this, Lee has always managed to keep a positive attitude to God and to all who come in contact with him. He is well liked and respected by everyone who knows him at work and in the community. In the precious name of our Lord and savior Jesus, the annointed one, I would like to request prayers for my dear friend Lee so that he might soon be healed and recover from this debillitating affliction.

A friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer a little over a year ago. She went through chemo and her numbers went down and seemed to be in remission, which was great! She was so excited and hopeful! She was recently tested again and her numbers were really high, therefore, she has to undergo chemo again starting on Friday. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind keeping her in your prayers. Her name is Marie, she is a good person and expecting her 2nd grandchild in November. I was really hoping that she would recover and seemed to be doing so well. Now, she has to start over again and my heart just breaks for her. She tries to have a good attitude about it and jokes about the hairloss, etc., but the treatment itself takes so much out of her, not to mention, things were starting to get somewhat "normal" for her and now it's "back to the drawing board". Anyhow, if you wouldn't mind mentioning her the next time you chat with our Father, I'd deeply appreciate it.
Carol, I will definitely say prayers for Marie and graciously request anyone reading this to say a prayer for Marie also.
