In The News
Hydrocarbons released into the atmosphere are destroying the ozone that protects the life on our planet from the harmful rays of the sun. The polar ice caps of the Earth are melting. Tropical rain forests which supply the atmosphere with oxygen are being eliminated. Large numbers of birds and
animals are being found dead. While man's tecnology increases,
the earth's resources decrease. Sir Isaac Newton said that "for each action, there is an equal and opposite
reaction". Indeed, these things are signs on Earth that things are
changing.
North and south polar ice caps are melting and ocean currents are changing dramatically resulting in changes in weather. Have you noticed a difference in the weather lately? 1999 also went on record for some of the worst storms in recorded history which included an F6 tornado in the United States. This was previously thought to be impossible.
"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call." (Joel 2:28-32)
Mount St. Helens Eruption
Below is a picture of the eruption of Mount St. Helens on May 18, 1980. The image of a face can be seen in the smoke and ash that billowed from this volcanic eruption.

Wonders In The Heavens...Moon Into Blood
On September 27, 1996, there was a lunar eclipse, during which, the moon actually appeared red in color ("moon into blood"). This happened during the Jewish Feast Of The Tabernacles.
Earthquakes

Earthquakes have been occurring on Earth throughout history and 1999 was a very active year for earthquakes. This image (left) is a picture of a disaterous earthquake which happened in Taiwan. Additionally, there were major earthquakes in Turkey (twice), Colombia, India, Greece, Mexico, and the United States in 1999. More than 20,000 people died in 1999 and thousands more were left injured and homeless.

In East Europe And Asia - A Report From The World Bank
"East European and Central Asian countries are now struggling to prevent the existing energy systems from failing. The socialist legacy left a power infrastructure that was equitable but extremely inefficient. Within centrally planned Communist systems, energy was traded at no or low cost.
Public buildings in the region use much more heat compared to similar buildings in West European countries, but current governments can't afford to continue subsidizing the utilities. So over the last decade, the region started experiencing problems in delivering heat as energy prices rose and the infrastructure deteriorated."
Post Tsunami - December 2004
Andrew Steer, the World Bank’s Country Director for Indonesia said this. "If you go to Aceh today, you see vast areas – kilometer after kilometer in some places, where it’s like a nuclear explosion has taken place. Not even any rubble is left. The force of the water was so great that not only did it destroy houses, but it took all of the rubble out to sea. So it’s the most eerie, tragic, surreal sight."

January 2009
It was reported that eighteen plus billions of taxpayer dollars in the form of Wall Street bailout money from the U. S. government was used as private bonuses paid to Wall Street executives. One week later, it was reported that yet another financial institution had done the same thing.
They live a very different life than most of us.
