Back to Arkham
Posted on 7/9/10

We're a little late, but a sequel to last year's successful Batman: Arkham Asylum video game is in the works and set for release sometime in 2011. This past April, Kevin Conroy confirmed the presence of Two-Face and also noted the tone of the game will be "really, really dark." The much-anticipated sequel is also of note because Mark Hamill has recently announced it will feature his final performance as the Joker, as he intends to retire from the role following its release.

This Fall, Kevin Conroy returns as the voice of Batman in Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. The sixth in a line of "DC Universe Original Animated Movies," the film will reunite Conroy and Tim Daly as Batman and Superman team up to take down Lex Luthor and prevent a meteoroid from striking Earth. First Kevin Conroy returns as the voice of Batman in this summer's Batman: Gotham Knight DVD. Now, he's back again in the upcoming video game Batman: Arkham Asylum. With a story written by Batman: The Animated Series' Paul Dini, the game takes place on an island housing Arkham Asylum, where Batman prowls the dark corridors and rooms in his quest to defeat his most well-known villains. The game will also take advantage of the Dark Knight's detective skills by having players solve CSI-like forensic puzzles with a variety of gadgets. This much-anticipated game also features Mark Hamill as The Joker and will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, and Windows sometime in 2009. Visit the official website here.
