The Grind: A Look at Nursing School

Here you'll find pictures from the nursing program at Cal State University, Long Beach. The images are the highlights and humdrum of nursing school, as told through the December 2001 graduating class, with a smattering of folks from classes ahead and behind us, and of course our wise and beloved professors.

If you're interested in making a difference and helping to make the world a better place - and you like people - nursing may be the profession for you. There is a shortage of registered nurses which is expected to worsen, and now's a great time to catch the wave. (updated Mar. 13, 2008).
