Faith grows amid storms of life.
AMIDST THE STORM
Faith grows amid storms of life. How blessed is soul who has been through
storms, for there in center... is GOD ! His love, His strength, His hands, ever
reaching out to steady, to hold us tight to Him. Faith comes alive when
exercised, brings unseen to view, where impossible is made possible, for we
move within movements of God.
JOB 23: 8 Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but
I can not perceive him:
JOB 23: 9 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him;
he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him.
JOB 23: 10 My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not
declined.
I am renewed with confidence, courage, and hope. God alone knows the way
I take, which path i follow. He knows when beloved one I lost, he knows when
trusted friends betray, when jobs we lost, problems with children we have. He
knows when I disappoint self and others, he knows when I am afraid, some-
times discouraged, weary of life. Ever he watches me when heart and mind
are together, walking straight line.... and knows when I take things into my
mind that confuse heart of me.....He knows when full of joy I am, also sees when numb and empty I am, feeling lost and alone...... when i cannot move on
my own, God moves in me and for me with His love and strength... Ever His
Light shines on me, no shadows can come from His Light.
" WHEN HE HATH TRIED ME, I SHALL COME FORTH AS GOLD"
"These words say to me that " all things do pass", even the existing thing
that may be difficult, may be breaking heart of me.... when he hath tried me,
I shall come forth as gold.
I may tire, feel faint from struggle of life, but rest peaceful I can, because ever
our Lord God is awake.
ISA 40: 28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting
God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the eath, fainteth not,
neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
ISA 40: 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might
he increaseth strength.
ISA 40: 30 Even the youth shall faint and be weary, and the young men
shall utterly fall:
ISA 40: 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and
not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Amid storms is pathway to our Lord God... path of suffering, sorrows and joys,
tears , smiles, trials and victory, persecution and healing. It is passing through
storms we are made conquerors through Him who loves us. We move through
storms as God moves mighty in us, with faith stronger having met the strength,
love and power of God's everlasting presence. Amen!
