Devorae Realm-1.0 quads held
Remnants of the previous Arcturan Occupation of this Quadrant have been destroyed. Only unknown technologies were kept and studied and as for the Arcturans themselves; many fled but most were killed defending thier Empire. Current estimates are at only 50-500 Arcturans exist in the universe now. Rumors abound of the existance of the remaining Arcturans as well as the origin of half-breed Arcturans assisting terrorist actions against the Imperium. The planets now occupied by the Devorae are considered sacred and only help to further the strength and culture of the Maelstrom Fleet. Most worlds are industrial or commercial and most residential areas are on orbiting space stations or within clusters of the surrounding Maelstrom fleet. There are currently 10 systems within the home quadrant. With the return of Vereticus and the defeat of the maniacal insurrectionist, Lord Sinder, the First Lord's close brush to death has shown him compassion to the proud but almost extinct Arcturan people. With extensive investigation, Arcturans are granted to return to their sacred homeworld of Arcturus and now inhabit the largest island there with minimal interfernce from the Imperium.
Expansion Realm-2.4 quads held
The Expasnion is filled with many trading and commerce centers and represent the new cultural aspect of having planet-based industries instead of using massive shipyards for all maufacturing centers. The District also holds the most forced mining operations which produces about 40% of all raw materials for the Imperium. Most Devorae seem content with experiencing the new planet-based life but most see this as an excursion to living in the Maelstrom fleet. This area also represents the new frontiers of Devorae science as exploration, scouts, traders, and research divisions establish themselves here. An area of great economic prosperity but there is always the threat of unknown dangers on the frontier. There are currently 24 systems within these quadrants making it the largest District of the Imperium. Lord Sinder was able to pacify the Expansion Realm when High Lord Thoth subjugated the populace during the Civil War. With the destruction of the Crimson Order the Expansion Realm has re-named its systems to the heros of First Lord Vereticus's inner circle such as Vereticus's second in command, High Lord Sarzana.
Fu-Vaas Outpost-0 quads held
Sharing the quadrant with Federated Colonial, Grand Fenwick, and Cerban, these two worlds are far flung outposts of the Devorae Imperium. The native Fu-Vaas are traded to the Pyrochette for slaving and the worlds are used as advanced resupply areas to expand our influence and generate trade with the nieghboring Federated Colonial cultures. Various Devorae outposts are scattered in the 2 systems but the trade generated is great and exotic. The FCS military alliance help provide security in the whole quadrant as they were the main force responsible for eliminating the Fu-Vaas. In the past there was great tension because of the differing empires and their alliance affiliations, but recently this has been non-existant due to the stability of the region and the fact that the Imperium withdrew membership from the CC. The FCS has maintained order within the quadrant even when disorder should be the case. When Lord Sinder began his revolt this was the home of the secretive Crimson Order. Many of their initial bases were stationed underground and underwater to avoid detection. Commander Danjel Judj was furious that the area was destroyed by Lord Sinder and the First Lord's Battlefleets. The FCS worked hard to maintain control in the Fu-Vass areas and now has an increased police force here in case the Crimson Order should try to secretly re-organize themselves in the future. The Imperium formerly controlled 2 systems but they are just wasteland now due to orbital bombardments in the Civil War.
Solarius Subordinate-0 quads held
We accuired the Solarius Subordinate with the assistance of Amaru Commonwealth and former-Star Warriors. Amaru occupies the other 6 systems of the quadrant and the 4 that we control are used for prison colonies, forced mining, and intelligence outposts. The previous Solarius Imperium did not even defend themselves from the invasion and therefore we were careful to save the industrial complexes and add it to the Devorae Imperium. Most of the native Solarius citizens were sent to the Expansion Realm for forced mining. This area was completely destroyed during Lord Sinder's revolt. It is also the first to undergo re-habitation and re-colonization since First Lord Vereticus regained control of the Imperium. Unfortunately the 4 former systems are still too bad for any type of meaningful industry or habitation.
Zedron Wastelands-1.0 quads held
The first outside challenge of all the species from this Universe was the Zedron. To show our influence we waited for them to act upon their declaration of war against us but nothing happened. Zedron's lack of action resulted us in destroying the whole Zedron Empire without meeting resistance. What remains now is called the Zedron Wasteland and is testament to the power of the Devorae Imperium. Most worlds are now lifeless and uniinhabitable except for the underground forced mining operations and penal colonies. Recently we have discovered that Zedron refugees re-located themselves on the far side of the Sector. They seem to be rebuilding thier empire and are maintaining a low-profile. Our Diplomatic teams have made contact but there was no official responses. When the Civil War began led by Lord Sinder, many of the First Lord's fleets gathered here as a staging point to counter-attack Lord Sinder's Crimson Order. Lord Sinder displayed his cunning by ordering Lord Mael to betray the First Lord's fleet and signal the location of the secret meeting. High Lord Thoth then moved in with the Crimson Order and destroyed half of the First Lord's fleet while they were still supplying. The area continues to be a wasteland except for the designated mourning areas for the brave supporters of First Lord Vereticus. We currently control 10 systems or 1 full quadrant of the Zedron Wasteland
Cere Protectorate-1.3 quads held
Lack of communication and action upon the Cere Alliance's part led to the Imperium annexing 10 systems of thier now defunct empire. The Alliance was undergoing a major civil war and our ambassador and his diplomatic fleet were attacked and destoryed orbiting the Cere Homeworld. No help from the Cere was given to our search teams nor was any information released to us about the Ambassador's fate. Finally, First Lord Vereticus sent the 3rd and 4th fleets to cross Cere borders to retrieve the missing Ambassador. Crossing the Cere border revealed to us the state of disarry and anarchy present within the Cere Alliance. Tracking the Ambassador's flight path to the homeworld revealed his destroyed diplomatic fleet orbiting the Cere Homeworld. Ships logs were found and downloaded which revealed the circumstances of the destruction. Immediately the 3rd and 4th fleets secured 10 systems and issued dictates to accept the Cere as second class citizens and safe evacuation of those who did not wish to live under orderly Imperium rule. Many accepted Imperium Citizenship wishing to see an end to this anarchy. The newly annexed area is now a district under Imperium rule and is named the Cere Protectorate. Assimilation of the populace is complete and now with the Minervan invasion of the remaining Cere Alliance they have allocated 0.3 quads to the CPD for our assistance. Recently, a number of slave revolts have occured here but since the capture of thier alleged leader, Baelzebub, and the USR and Technologic as thier supporters, we have cracked down on the ringleaders and outfitted a total of over 500 million slaves throughout the Imperium with Pyrochette slaving-techs. Fortunately, when the Civil War led by Lord Sinder erupted the CPD was wise to avoid conflict at the time was relatively untouched by Lord Sinder's Crimson Order. We currently control 13 systems or 1 full quadrant and 3 systems of the Cere Protectorate
Scrin Graves-0 quads held
After assisting the Federated Colonial States with the takeover of Scrin, they presented us with 3 systems of the former Scrin Empire. The Scrin had weak planetary militia to resist the takeover and many of the Scrin simply surrendered without a fight. The Scrin were sold to the Pyrochette and the rest were used to staff the forced mining operations in the Expansion Realm. The Scrin are a passive race and were easy to assimilate into forced mining and servant sects. Careful inspection of the Scrin systems revealed mineral rich asteroid belts and rare ores on the Scrin planets. Of these ores were the Azurite, which proved to be a major colony of sentient beings once first contact was initated by thier leader just recently. By Imperium dictate, the Forchain empire was to move in and collect all Azurite within the Imperium to help the strange race back home. Over the initial colonization months, mining bases were quickly founded and represent the richest sources of raw materials of the Imperium. When the renegade Lord Sinder took control of the Imperium major civil war battles occured in the 3 systems. The whole area was decimated and the once mineral rich planets were scorched by orbital bombardments that fused the rich ores with others making them impure, worthless, and impossible to seperate. The FCS stations border patrols in the space for any Imperium military movements.
