This shipset represents the new Imperium's fleet. The shipset is for use in SE4, that is the reson for the angled views (as well as providing a way to see the ships in a more realistic way). The top down view is a larger version of the one to be used in SE4. The Imperium's ships use standard design classes but use modular components as well as weaponry. Therefore different sizes and classes of ships can be modified or outfitted with specialized combat equipment. This enables versatility as well as confusing the enemy to what purpose each starship class serves. The only limitation is the size of modular equipment and the amount of free space on the hull of the ship. New to this fleet design is the use of all recently discovered technologies in the Imperium. Eventually these ships will be completed and will replace the older Maelstorm Fleet designs.
