After succesful re-instatement of trade with the Pyrochette, relations have continued to strengthen almost to the point of "CC age" talks. With the current slave uprisings throughout the galaxy, the Pyrochette and Devorae have been working hand in hand to crush the underground rebels. Numerous uprisings, terrorist actions from half-breed Arcturans, decreased mining productions, allegations of outside empires supplying the slave resistance have been abound. The discovery of the slave's accused leader, Baelzebub, has led to a crackdown on the uprising as well as his capture and extredition to the Pyrochette by the Vendettian Empire. Slaving-technology has been shared with us; courtesy of the Pyrochette, to break the will of slave ringleaders. An important factor that led to the signing of the Military Alliance was the Imperium's scans of cloaked USR ships poised to attack the Pyrochette. The Pyrochette responded by attempting to capture the vessel but was unsuccessful, but at least the identity of the slave supporters was known. Also discovered was the assistance of the Technologic Empire to the USR. A state of war was declared between the Pyrochette and USR and the Devorae Imperium fully supports the Pyrochette. When the Pyrochette fleet commanders give the signal the Imperium's Maelstorm fleet will be ready to attack to establish order.
