    Biography

Chris D'Arcy was born March 23, 1972. As a child he always enjoyed watching Sprint Car races, and always dreamed of being able to drive one himself. 1992 was the year that he got his chance, and won the San Jose Speedway Rookie of the Year Title.
In 1993, Chris started the season with chicken pox and it only went downhill from there. Crashes and motor problems forced the team to sit out the last half of the season, but they still finished sixteenth in points!
In 1994, Chris was only able to race 4 times due to motor problems, and lack of money. It was a rough year, but he refused to quit which paid off in the following year.
1995 was a good year. A stranger, named Ron Cooper, approached Chris & offered him an engine to run. Ron is a great guy, and even now he is helping to find sponsors. Chris nearly won a race at San Jose and set a pair of second fast qualifying times. Chris also got to run non-wing with SCRA, which was a big dream of Chris'. Unfortunately, Ron's engine let go in August ending the teams season. Discouraged, Chris sold all of his equipment. After going to the races for the next three years, Chris could no longer handle just being a spectator. He teamed up with Robert Sanchagrin and came back to racing with a new team and better equipment. Since then the team has been gaining momentum and is ready to explode in the 2000 racing season. Sponsored by M.L. Brown, Pro Plus Auto Parts, Rich's Auto Repair, and Georges Body Shop the team is planning for upcomming victory. But more sponsorship help is needed to reach their goal.
