June 2002 - Check out our first stock car.

Doug and Rodger - we're back to a great team again.........Dresden Racing.

A week after stubbing the car, we had to restub it again. Rodger got shoved into a one ton concrete block as you can see, pushing it 8 feet. He also took an exciting ambulance ride to the hospital. He was bruised and sore but was lucky to come out of it ok. We decided that it was time to get out of the banging hobbystock class and move up to stockcar.

Our 2002 car! As Rodger puts it, " Isn't it purdy?".

The 2001 season is over and we just finished painting the car for the 2002 season. We finished 5th in points at Lee Co. Speedway and 2nd in points at Scotland Co. Raceway.
We attended the awards banquet on January 26 for the 2001 season and our team recieved the coveted party award and trophy! We do know how to party! Wish us luck for a great season!

Here's the new 2001car....... and we're back even faster than before! The Memphis track has put a bounty out on Rodger because of his 5th consecutive feature win as of August 4th. Can anyone catch him?

July 4, 2001 Memphis, Missouri. Rodger was quite sore for awhile after this............

Here it is! Our 2001 car....

SWEEEEEET!

We've been racing at both Lee County Speedway in Iowa and Scotland County Raceway in Missouri. On May 19, 2001, Rodger drove to victory in both the heat race and in the A-main at Scotland County Raceway!.

We had a great 2000 season with our 1978 Monte Carlo. Rodger and I built the car from the ground up and it really payed off. The car was consistent all season as we worked our way up the point standings to finish with a solid 4th place in season points.

The 2000 car before......

.........and after.

Oooops! The car after the last race of the 2000 season.
