- Charles Irvin Misener, 83, of Liscomb, Guysborough County,
died Friday, Feb. 5 at St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in West Liscomb, he was a son of the late
Andrew and Zoe (Pace) Misener. He was a lighthouse keeper
at Liscomb Island for 35 years, before retiring.
He was a member of St. John's United Church, Liscomb.
He is survived by a son; a daughter; two brothers,
Andy, MacLennan's Brook, Pictou County;
Aubrey, New Glasgow; a sister; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son; a daughter; two grandchildren; a brother;
three sisters. Funeral was Monday, Feb. 8 at St. John's United Church, Liscomb,
Deacon David Clevland officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart Foundations or any charity.
