CANSO - ALLAN J.MacDONALD,65,
of Canso,died Tuesday at home. Born in
Guysboro,
he was a son of the late Agustus and Annie MacDonald.
He had been employed with the Department of Transport
for the past 29 years
and had retired last November.
He is survived by his wife, the former Catherine Kavanagh;
one
daughter, Irene, at home; 2 sons, Donald and Kevin,
at home;one sister,
Elizabeth, Guysboro; 2 brothers,
Lawlor, Dartmouth; and Walter, Guysboro.
He was predeceased by
a sister, Kathleen; 2 brothers, Joseph and Maurice.
The remains are resting
at the family home, Water Street, Canso. Funeral
service will be
10a.m. today at Star Of the Sea Church, Canso,
with internment in parish cemetery.
