Bessie Bernice Hunt, of Steep Creek,
Guysborough County, died Wednesday, May 4
in St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Piedmont, Pictou County, she was a daughter of
the late William and Jane (Mackay) Auld.
A retired registered nurse, she worked for several years
at Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. She was a member of
Trinity United Church, Mulgrave; Friendship Chapter No. 42,
Order of the Eastern Star, Afton;
and Chedibucto Chapter No. 43, Order of the Eastern Star, Guysborough.
She is survived by two brothers, William, Thorburn; Henry, Auld's Cove.
She was predeceased by her husband, Laird; two brothers,
and a sister. Graveside services were held 3 p.m. Friday, May 6,
in United Church Cemetery, Mulgrave, Rev. Stephen Moore officiating.
Donations may be made to Havre Boucher Medical Centre.
