John Alexander Hadley, 68,
Hadleyville, Guysborough County,
died Thursday, Jan. 1, at home. Born in
Hadleyville,
he was a son of Mrs Laura Hadley Grant.
He retired in 1983 from
Stora Forest Industries
and was a member of Hadleyville United Church. He is
survived by
his wife, the former Florence England; two daughters, including
Marie
(Mrs James (Sonny) MacDonald), Lismore; a son;
four sisters; five
grandchildren. He was predeceased
by three infant children; a brother,
Calvin.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday in
Hadleyville United
Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
