SKINNER,HARRY GODFREY- 76,
50 Tupper St., Sydney,
died September 27, 1996,
in Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Guysborough, he was a son of
the late James and Mary Ann(Whalen)Skinner.
He retired in 1980 from the City of Sydney Works Department.
He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch No.128,
Whitney Pier. He was a veteran of the Second World War.
Surviving are daughters, Patricia Dover, Sydney;
Mary Jorden, Dartmouth; son, Albert Borden, Guys.;
sisters, Allie Dorrington, Bessie Clyke,Guys.,
16 grandchildren, several nephews and nieces and cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jean Jane Skinner, son Earl;
brothers, Burt, Jim, Pete, Fred; grandson, Donald;
sisters, Sadie, Florence. Visitation 2-4, 7-9pm
today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral 2pm.
Tuesday in Sunnyville Baptist Church, Guys., Rev. Stanley Worth
officiating. Burial in church cemetery.
