GEORGE, Harry Arthur - 84,
Cook's Cove, died Friday in Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
Born in Half Way Cove, he was a son of the late John and Annie (Henderson) George.
He was a retired farmer and a member of St. James Anglican Church,
Half Way Cove. He is survived by his wife, the former Betty Taylor; two sons,
Neil, at home; Gary, Courtney, B.C.; a brother, Charles, Half Way Cove;
five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased
by two sisters, Mary, Bertha. The body is in Dennis Haverstock's Funeral Home,
Guysborough, where funeral will be 2 p.m. today, Rev. Paul Wilkie officiating,
assisted by Rev. Karen MacLeod-Wilkie. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery,
Guysborough. Donations may be made to Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
