Taylor, Harold Arthur 73,
Guysborough, died December 1, 1995, at Cooks Cove.
Born at Cooks Cove he was a son of the late
William and Nettie (Spanks) Taylor. He was a veteran
of the Second World War; a retired employee of
the Department of Transportation, Guysborough, and an adherent of
Wesley United Church, Guysborough. Surviving are his wife,
the former Doris Porter, daughters, Sharon
(Mrs. Gerald Champman), Spryfield; Florence (Mrs. Keith MacDonald),
Mulgrave; Eileen (Mrs. Rodney Banks), Digby; son Russell, Mount Uniacke;
sisters, Mrs. Marion Dort, West Cooks Cove; Beatrice (Mrs. Donald Corkum),
Cooks Cove; brother Earl, Cooks Cove; 9 grandchildren;
3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother,
Earl Charles in Infancy. Funeral 2 p.m. today
in Wesley United Church, Rev. Bill Ford officiating,
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Donations to
Wesley United Church or any charity. Arrangements under
the direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough.
