Myers, Earl Roy – 69,
Manchester, Guysborough County, died April 29, 1994,
at home. Born in Manchester, he was a son
of the late George and Ruth (Hart) Myers.
He was a retired farmer and former salesman
for the W.T. Rawleigh Company. He was an adherent of
Boylston United Baptist Church and a member of
Eastern Light Lodge 72, Guysborough.
He is survived by his wife, the former Ester Cook;
two foster sons, Joseph Fulton, Mississauga, Ont.;
Douglas Carde, Caledon, Ont.,
four sisters, Hazel (Mrs. Wilbur Cummings), Port Shoreham;
Evelyn (Mrs. John Luzon), Elsie (Mrs. Earl Collins),
both of Halifax; Gertie (Mrs. Lloyd Simpson), Boylston;
brother, Charles, Sackville, N.B. Cremation will take place.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in
Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough,
Rev. Sandra Morrison officiating. Burial will be
in Boylston United Baptist Church Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
