W. F. Clyde DesBarres
Des Barres, W.F. Clyde – 84, McColl’s Island,
Guysborough County, died August 8, 1993,
in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Guysborough,
he was a son of the late Ernest R. and Georgina (Jenkins) Des Barres.
He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving with
the RCAF, retiring as wing commander. He was a retired aeronautical engineer.
He is survived by his wife, the former Doris L. Rice; sister,
Mrs. E.L. Mott, Ottawa; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three sisters, Erna, Marie L., Elsie;
three brothers, Harold, G. Mortimer, Louis.
Cremation has taken place. Burial will be
at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough.
Arrangements under the direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough.
