Horton, Frederick Graham

87, Milford Haven Home for Special Care,
Guysborough Co, formerly of Canso, died January 11, 1995,
in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born at Hortons Cove,
Guysborough, Co., he was a son of the late David and Esther
(Spanks) Horton. He was a retired maintenance worker
at the Canso High School and also worked on the Fairmorse
and other costal vessels. He was a member of the United Baptist Church,
Canso. Surviving are daughters, Pearl (Mrs Elliott Grant),
St Frances Harbour; Lillian (Mrs John Nickerson), Canso;
Helen, Larrys River; Muriel (Mrs Dennis Bousquet), Montreal;
sons Fred Jr, St Catharines, Ont; Percy, Thomas,
Middle Musquodoboit; David, Dartmouth; Nelson, Ottawa; Stanley,
Maxwell, Robert, Truro; 24 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchilderen.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Eileen Fanning; three sisters;
four brothers. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m.today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home,
Canso. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in United Baptist Church,
Canso, Rev David Wheeler officiating. Burial in the Union Cemetery.
