ASPEN - Bruce Joseph MacKeen, 58,
died Saturday at his home here.

Born in Aspen, he was the son of the late Ernest and Alice (MacKeen) MacKeen.

He lived in Aspen most of his life and was a former employee of the department of highways.
For the past four years he operated a canteen in Aspen.

He was a member of the Glenelg United Church and was on the board of trustees.

He was a member of Queen's Lodge No. 34 AF and AM, Sherbrooke.

Surviving besides his wife, the former Muriel Smith, are two daughters,
Joan (Mrs. William Wright), Victoria, B.C.;
Betty (Mrs. Robert Walker), Lower Sackville;
three sons,
Donald, Hammonds Plains;
Gary and Allan, at home;
two grandchildren

He was predeceased by a brother, Claire.

The remains are resting at his late residence in Aspen.
The funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. from the Glenelg United Church.
Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
