SUNNYVILLE - George Joseph Talbot, 85,
Sunnyville, died Friday in Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
Born in Sunnyville, he was a son of the late
George and Isabel (Johnson) Talbot.
He was a member of Sunnyville United Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Laura Dorrington;
three daughters, Pearl (Mrs. Gordon Clyke), Sunnyville;
Larella (Mrs. Stanley Anderson) and Rossie Pelly, both of London,
Ont.; a foster daughter, Salena Reddick, Dartmouth; a son, Bernard,
Kitchener, Ont.; a sister, Rossie, New York;
11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased
by two daughters, Mildred and Pearl; thee brothers,
Charlie, Harry and Ernest; three sisters, Hazel,
Cora and Mildred. The body is in
Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Sunnyville United Baptist Church,
Rev. Donald Thomas officiating. Burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to Guysborough Memorial Hospital building fund.
