John L. Schrader - 58,
died December 14 1964,
he was a local harbour master and measuring sureveyor
of shipping, died at his home here
after a short illness.
He had not been the best of health for some time.
He was an ardent Freemason,
a Past Master of Canso lodge,
and at the time of his death was
Director of Ceremonies for the District.
Besides his wife, the former Inez Snow,
he survived by one son, Rodney, at home;
one sister, Laura(Mrs. Fred Harris),
of Whitehead, Guys. Co.; three stepsisters,
Alice (Mrs. Weldon Hubley), Seabright, N.S.;
Amy (Mrs. Howard Grover),Hfx.;
and Mildred (Mrs. Benjamin Brannen),Woods Habour,N.S.
