Mrs. Bertha Lydia MacIntosh -(October 13, 1980)

Port Shoreham - Mrs. Bertha Lydia MacIntosh, 98,
of Port Shoreham, died Friday at home.
Born in Port Shoreham, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Christina (Ferguson) Hadley.
She was a member of the Boylston United Church and the UCW.
Surviving are two daughters, Elsie (Mrs. Wilfred Sceles),
Port Shoreham; and Ida (Mrs. Oscar Hadley), Hadleyville;
a son, Harold, Port Shoreham; nine grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren;
and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Edmund;
a brother, Fenwick; a sister, Maude;
and an infant daughter, Hope.
The body is in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough.
Funeral service will be today at 2 p.m.
in Boylston United Church, Rev. Cordell Parsons officiating.
Burial will be in Manchester Cemetery.
