Edmund MacINTOSH - 1924

God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform.
For once again there has been taken from us a most beloved friend,
Mr. Edmund MacIntosh of Port Shoreham,
who passed away to his home in Glory December 26th
at one o'clock in the morning, age 51 years.
He was only sick eight days with pneumonia,
which he suffered from once before quite a number of years ago.
Dr. Charles Aikens was attending to him and Dr. Buckley also was to him once,
but their treatment was all in vain for God wanted him and called him Home.
Mr. MacIntosh was well liked by all who knew him
thus being such a kind affectionate man.
No matter where one saw him he was always the same.
And in his home he was so kind and gentle.
Mr. MacIntosh was a true servant of his Master.
He leaves to mourn their loss his wife, Mrs. Bertha MacIntosh,
two daughters, Elsie and Ida, and one son Harold,
who is at home with his mother and Elsie, who is teaching in the home school.
And Ida is teaching school in Churchville,
she was at home spending her Christmas vacation when her father died.
Oh, our hearts go out to them in sympathy
at the loss of their loving and tender husband and father.
And our prayers are that God will help them
bear their great burden of sorrow which has so suddenly fallen to them.
The Breeze extends deep sympathy.
