Dorothy Pearl Bezanson
BEZANSON, Dorothy Pearl - 73,
New Chester, Guysborough Co., died November 24, 1995,
in the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Ecum Secum, she was the
youngest daughter of the late Arch and Margaret (Jewers) Pye.
She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church.
She was a recipient of the Volunteer of the Year Award
in recognition of her many years of active involvement
in church and community affairs. Surviving are sons,
Frank and wife Barbara, Victor and wife Judy, Lower Sackville;
daughter, Margaret (Mrs. John Archibald), New Glasgow;
grandchildren, Angela (Mrs. Ed Malone), Craig, Lisa, Michael, Trevor,
Krista; sister, Patricia Blamire, Calgary; 13 nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles, brothers, Frank, Percy.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, 2-4 p.m. Sunday, prayers 8:30 p.m. tonight,
all in Crowell's Funeral Home, Sheet Harbour.
Cremation to follow. Funeral 2 p.m. Monday
in St. John's Church, Necum Teuch, Rev. Gavin Dunbar officiating.
Family flowers only. Donations to
St. John's Cemetery Fund or Canadian Cancer Society.
