WORTH, George Douglas - 65, Cooks Cove, Guysborough Co.,
died December 28, 1998, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Cooks Cove,
he was a son of Mrs. Catherine (Williams) Worth, Guysborough,
and the late Murray G. Worth.
He was a retired transport driver for Canadian Breweries Transport (Carlings Division), Toronto.
Upon retirement he received a 25-years Safe Driving Award
from the Ontario Department of Transportation
and also a 25-year Golden Steering Wheel Pin Award
from the Ontario Safety League for an accident free driving career.

Surviving are daughter, Sheila (Mrs. Serge Caputo), Toronto;
son, George (Sherry), Toronto;
sisters, Marjorie Pyne, Shirley, both of Moncton;
Virginia (Mrs. David Dunlop), Boutiliers Point;
Marie (Mrs. Wayne MacQuarrie), Halifax;
Theresa Caswell, Saint John, N.B.;
Marilyn (Mrs. Robert MacKinnon), Milford;
brothers, Lloyd, Lawrence (Joan), both of Cooks Cove;
Robert, Dartmouth;
granddaughter, Gabriella Caputo, Toronto;
several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Wesley and Elton; sister, Joan.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 1999,
in Wesley United Church, Guysborough, Rev. Doreen Daley officiating.
Burial at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough.
No flowers please. Memorial donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
