MILLS, William Dalton - 78,
L.R. MacKaracher Nursing Home, Sherbrooke,
formerly of Indian Harbour Lake, Guysborough County,
died Wednesday in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Port Hilford, he was a son of the
late David and Jennie (Riley) Mills.
He was a member of Port Hilford United Baptist Church.
He was a retired truck driver and a Nova Scotia licensed guide.
He was a past member of Port Bickerton branch, Orange Lodge.
He is survived by three sons, George, Indian Harbour Lake;
David and Fraser, both of Dartmouth;
three daughters, Joan (Mrs. Leonard Jordan), and Barbara
(Mrs. Raymond Jordan), both of Indian Harbour Lake,
Edith (Mrs. Wayne Auton), Sonora; four brothers, Kirwin, Alfred,
Kenneth and Douglas, all of Port Hilford; 17 grandchildren;
five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by
his wife, the former Alice MacDonald; an infant son, Leslie;
an infant grandson, Robert; a brother, Cecil;
a sister, Irma. The body is in Indian Harbour Lake Pentecostal Church,
visiting 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral will be
held Friday at 2 p.m. Rev. Bert Cooper officiating. Burial will be
in Sunset Rest Cemetery, Indian Harbour Lake.
