Beatrice R. Rood
Miss Beatrice R. Rood, 92,
of 191 Allen Street, Halifax,
died Tuesday in Halifax Civic Hospital.
Born in Indian Harbour Lake, Guysborough County,
she was a daughter of the late David and Sophia (Atwarter) Rood.
She was a professional seamstress in Halifax for more than 40 years,
and was a member of St. Pauls' Anglican Church.
Surviving are a sister Gertrude (Mrs. M.A. Jewers),
Halifax; three nieces and seven nephews.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Laura,
Amanda, and Georgina, two brothers, Percy and Courtney.
The body is at Snow's Funeral Home, Halifax.
Funeral will be today at 11 a.m.
in St. Thomas Anglican Church, Indian Harbour Lake,
Rev. F. Dean officiatimg. Burial will be in St. Thomas Anglican cemetery.
