Charles Cooke
January 20, 1923 - The Canso Breeze
We regret to report the death of one of the oldest
and most respected
gentlemen of Isaac's Harbor;
Mr. Charles Cooke, who died Jan. 8th.
He was in failing health all winter,
but suddenly, on Sunday night,
took a bad turn
and died Monday. He leaves to mourn his loss
three
sons, Capt. W.M. Cooke,
L.J. Cooke and Tremaine who is at present
in
Timmins, Ont., also one daughter, Winifred,
in Halifax. Mr. Cooke was
about 73 years old.
Funeral took place from his residence Isaac's
Harbor.
