MRS. MINNIE REID
Mrs. Minnie Reid, 85, widow of David Reid,
passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Hewitt,
at Port Hillford, Guysboro County. Mrs. Reid was born
at Port Hillford. For many years Mrs. Reid
was a worker for the Red Cross, the Women's Institute
and Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons,
Percy, of Timmins, Ontario, Stanley, of Port Hillford,
David of Montreal; two daughters, Eva, Mrs. Fred Hewitt;
Annie, Mrs. E.M. Hewitt; of Port Hillford; two brothers,
Allan McConnell of West Attelboro, Maine;
Judson R. McConnell of St. Mary's River. Interment was in
Cherry Hill Cemetery, Port Hillford, Pastor Keith Churchill
and Rev. ___ Hill officiating.
