DANIEL H. MacINTOSH, 65,
of Shearwater, died yesterday in St. Mary's Hospital.
A hunting and fishing guide all his life, he was widely known
in the Maritimes and the United States. Surviving are his wife,
the former Ina Cook; six sons, Robert, Quebec;
Edward, at home; Danny, Dartmouth; John, Musquodoboit Harbor;
Allen and Gordon, at home; four daughters, Lillian
(Mrs. Walter O'Brien), New Glasgow; Edith (Mrs. R. Webber), Musquodoboit Harbor;
Norma (Mrs. R. Lynch), Musquodoboit Harbor;
Barbara (Mrs. J. Cross), Halifax; three brothers, Alex, Fleet Settlement;
Arch, Sherbrooke; Clarence, Dartmouth; one sister, Laurie (Mrs. L. MacKinnon),
Musquodoboit Harbor; and 17 grandchildren.
One son is dead. The body is at the Venoit Funeral Home, Sherbrooke.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the
Presbyterian Church, Stillwater. Interment will be in the Waternish Cemetery.
