Boylston, died August 15, 1998, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII.
Born in Boylston, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Mabel (Hudson) Flavin.
He was a laborer and a member of St. Ann's Parish.
Surviving are his former wife, Beverly Jamieson; daughters,
Sharlene (Mrs. Graham Lays), Fort McMurray, Alta.; Ann Marie Worth, Antigonish;
sons, James, Red Deer, Alta.; Paul, Ontario; Kenneth, Calgary;
Michael Benoit, Pomquet; sisters, Mrs. Jean Best, Millie (Mrs. Gerald Fitzgerald),
Boylston; Irene (Mrs. Kenneth MacDonald), Barrie, Ont.;
Marie (Mrs. Aubrey Duprey), Salt Springs, Pictou Co.;
brothers, Francis, Mississauga, Ont.; Roddie, New Glasgow; six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by sons, Richard, Terrance; a granddaughter;
sister, Mary; brothers, Gerald, Charles. Funeral was Tuesday
in St. Ann's Church, Guysborough, Rev. Allan McPhie officiated.
Burial in the parish cemetery.
