HILDA P. MASON

COUNTRY HARBOUR - The funeral of the late Hilda P. Mason,
wife of Lawrence C. Mason, was held
in the United Baptist Church at Cross Roads here Sept. 24.
The service was conducted by the ministers of the church,
Robert and Lola Mather-Dyer. He read scripture
and she brought a comforting message.
Prayer was offered by United Church minister
Sheila MacCulloch-Taylor.

A favorite hymn of the deceased,
Sometime We'll Understand was sung by the choir
and congregation. A trio consisting of nephews
Bruce DeYoung, John DeYoung and L. Mather-Dyer
sang Because He lives, another of Mrs. Mason's favorite hymns.
Mrs. Eva Manthorne was organist.

Pallbearers were grand-nephews, Wally Caldwell,
Ernest Cameron, Alex Sutherland, and neighbours
Alphonso Mason, Arthur Wilson and Walter Worth.

Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.
