GRANT, Ella Mae - 80,
Glenkeen, Guysborough Co., passed away peacefully Monday, June 29, 1998,
at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in West Cooks Cove,
Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late
James and Dolena (Ross) Dickie. She was affectionately known as
Grammie Mae to many children. She was a member of
Boylston United Baptist Church and a lifetime member of
Boylston Baptist Women's Missionary Society.
She is survived by daughters, Eileen Smith, Boylston;
Betty (Tony) Boutilier, Timberlea;
Edith (Rick) Taylor, Dartmouth; Beatrice
(Harold) DeCoste, East Tracadie; sons, Frank, Brierly Brook;
Donnie (Margie), Clydesdale, Antigonish Co.;
sister, Belle Vigneault, Dartmouth; 13 grandchildren;
20 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband William;
sisters, Sadie and Martha; brothers, Jack and George.
Funeral service was Thursday in Boylston United Baptist Church,
Rev. Earl MacDonald officiating. Internment in the church cemetery.
Family flowers only.

Boylston United Baptist Church or Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
