SIMPSON -

Following a few months of failing health,
and several months of practically steady confinement to her bed,
Mrs. Emma Simpson, aged eighty-two years,
died at Boylston, Nova Scotia, January 14.
Mrs. Simpson joined the local Church about thirty-five years ago,
remaining a very valued member until the end.
Patient, cheerful, kind, appreciative, and a respected resident,
Mrs. Simpson will be greatly missed.
Left mourning are: Misses Annie, and Florence (home),
Mesdames J.T. Anderson, Boylston, Britt Mitchell, Dartmouth,
N.S. and Mrs. Earle Peart, Lowell, Mass. (Daughters);
William Gordon ,(home), and Augustus , Manchester, N.S. (sons);
also Mrs. Alex McKay, Guysborough Intervale, and Mrs. Bessie Stevens, Los Angles (sisters).
Assisted by Rev. W. B. McLean (United Church), Rev. J. M. Blesedele
guided the funeral exercises at the home and grave on January.
