RIVERTON, Pictou County -- Dora Katherine Fulton, 91
of Valley View Villa, Riverton, formerly of New Glasgow, died here Thursday.

Born in Smithfield, Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Katherine (MacIntosh) Cruickshank.

She lived in the New Glasgow area for 50 years after moving from Smithfield.
She was a member of Campbell Presbyterian Church, Smithfield.
While living in New Glasgow she attended St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church.
For many years, she worked in nursing homes and on private duty as a practical nurse.

Surviving are two sons, Herman Smith, Whitby, Ont.; and
Arnold Smith, Seattle, Wash.;
a brother George, Glenelg, Guysborough County;
a sister Janie Jordan, Newton, Guysborough County;
nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Archibald Smith;
her second husband David Fulton;
two sons, Edmund and Milton Smith;
two sisters, Ettie and Ena;
two brothers, Harry and Otto;
and an infant sister and brother.

The body is in H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen, Guysborough County, Rev. Jane Johnson officiating, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Aspen.
